Argan Oil is in our blood. As a family with a long history of producing argan oil, we’re proud of the roots we’ve laid in Agadir. Home to the only Moroccan forest where the argan tree thrives, in a valley nestled in the Atlas Mountains — we’ve provided the market with High quality product for over the past decade.
The argan tree has been a center of Berber village life and commerce for generations. Just as our elders had harvested, prepared, and sold nuts and seeds to protect their way of life,Oilanic carries that tradition into the twenty-first century.
Maintaining our commitment and loyalty to the region, all of our kernels continue to be sourced from Berber women cooperatives which practice Fair Trade principles. Our growers can still take pride and value for their work.
For the first time in living memory, Oilanic is capable of giving back to the community and land itself. Our local partnerships forge the shared goal of protecting and promoting the richness and beauty Morocco has to offer the world. We spread the natural cosmetic oils with the world, and preserve the historic argan trees at the same time. Oilanic produces, bottles, and distributes all of our product within our own facility. From cultivation to commercialization, our family still takes an active role in our tradition of supplying the finest pure organic Argan Oil to our customers.

Our production facilities are located 30 km away from Agadir, in the heart of the Argan forest. Oilanic is certified by ECOCERT and produces organic Argan oil according to the CE 889/2008 regulation and NOP standard.

We support young cooperatives and cultivation projects, we guarantee purchase and commit to long-term contracts, that contribute to their autonomy and independence.
Purchase prices are fairly determined by both production costs and the current market rate
We support our cooperative partners every step of the way through training and consultation, developing and fine-tuning their practices.
In addition to not make any compromises in argan oil quality, we find it utmost important that the whole growing, picking and cracking process chain works as ethically and in a socially responsible way as possible. Argan kernels that are used in our argan oil are provided by the Berber women co-operatives from the Tamanar region in Morocco, Women hand pick, sort, dry and crack the argan nuts and remove the precious argan kernels. Their work is of particular importance when the highest quality argan oil is produced. These co-operatives have an extremely important role in improving the social status of local women and providing work in areas where traditionally it has been difficult for women to find work. The co-operative that provides us the argan kernels employs currently about 150 women and they are constantly employing more women. Helping others is our #1 priority and a concept that makes our jobs so rewarding.
